Our story
A new challenge
for early music
2022 brought an important change to the A.P.S. Musicale Dolci Accenti association: the start of a new challenge and a goal it had dreamed of for a long time. After some tentative beginnings in previous years, during the events of the international early music festival “Note senza tempo”, the early instrument masterclasses became monthly and full-immersion.
We wanted to give talented young performers a place to learn and exchange ideas, and to explore in depth the use of original instruments, historical performance practice, and the research and comparison of sources. The results will give them greater visibility and help them express themselves in live concerts.
Filling this gap puts Sassari at the heart of early music production, also with music by forgotten composers brought back to light and never performed since.
