About

Our mission

Immersed in the world of early music

Our teaching immerses students in early music through original instruments or copies, scores, parts and tablatures that, with the teacher’s guidance, let them study the oldest notations. Our approach aims to introduce even the least experienced musicians to early music and historically informed performance practice, refining historical technique and taking each student on a journey through the organological evolution of the instruments covered by the course.

We also offer advanced lessons, particularly suited to those who have already worked in this field, covering everything related to preparing for exams, concert programmes and competitions.

🎼

Young Talents

A place to learn and exchange ideas for young performers, to gain visibility and experience in public concerts.

📜

Forgotten Composers

Research into, and promotion of, often forgotten composers, bringing back to light music that has not been performed since.

How?

Full-Immersion
Lessons

Our teaching takes the form of full-immersion lessons: whole days devoted to rediscovering little-known composers, techniques and instruments, together with concerts organised by A.P.S. Dolci Accenti, featuring the best students of the masterclasses and the teachers themselves.

All these activities take place in a splendid historic setting: the library of the beautiful monumental complex of Santa Maria di Betlem in Sassari.
